Claire Ann Richards was born on 17th August 1977, making her a Leo and the youngest member of the band.Claire was raised in Hillingdon, Middlesex with her Mum, Dad and little sister Gemma who's 2 years yunger than her...Claire had always had a strong voice, before being in Steps she was in a band called TSD..however, TSD didn't get far, just supporting bigger acts on tour, so STEPS was her big break Claire ghad always wanted Fame and fortune, being as determined and focused as she is, this gir is set to go far...she has the beauty to go with it to, lovely blonde hair, sea green eyes, and beautiful facial features. No one could have a stronger voice than our Claire! At the age of 14 she got the lead role in her school play of The Sound Of Music.At school she was one of the shy ones, not wanting to get into trouble, and once she forgot her dinner pass to get some chips at lunch time but went any way, and of course she got  caught.Claire is the shy and modest type, but when it comes to performing she knows her stuff. she's 5ft 6!
